A personalized look at where your body is today and what may deserve attention before pregnancy.
“This gave me hope. It has been invaluable to work with Fed Well Holistic.”
— Lauren S. , client
Whether you're hoping to conceive in the next few months or simply want to be proactive, this process helps you move beyond generic prenatal advice and better understand your body's unique needs.
Why Consider Testing Before Pregnancy?
Many women spend time researching prenatals and fertility recommendations.
The challenge isn't usually a lack of information.
The challenge is figuring out:
What actually applies to you
What deserves attention right now
What may not need attention at all
This process is designed to help you better understand your current mineral patterns, health history, symptoms, and potential areas of stress before pregnancy.
Common Reasons Women Choose This Process
Preparing for pregnancy in the next 3–12 months
History of nutrient deficiencies
Previous difficult pregnancies or postpartum recovery
Fatigue, burnout, or feeling depleted
Having symptoms such as GI issues, hair loss, rashes, food sensitivities, irregular menstrual cycles, headaches or brain fog.
Wanting a more personalized approach than a standard prenatal
Simply wanting a better understanding of where their body is today
What’s Included:
✔ Detailed Intake + Symptom Assessment
You’ll complete our in-depth intake and Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire to help identify the biggest patterns currently impacting your wellness goals based on our years of experience.
✔ Priority Snapshot
Within a few days of submitting your forms, you’ll receive a concise Priority Snapshot identifying:
the primary underlying causes currently standing out
what may be contributing most to dysregulation
what NOT to hyperfocus on yet
the top priorities to focus on first while waiting on labs
This is designed to reduce overwhelm — not add more to your plate.
✔ Hair Mineral Lab Testing
You’ll receive an HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) kit to complete at home.
HTMA helps provide a deeper look at the “why” behind symptoms:
mineral patterns in the cells (vs. bloodwork)
heavy metals showing up in hair
chronic vs acute stress and what this could mean
red flags for possible infections/inflammation
specific mineral patterns validating symptoms
✔ Lab Insights Summary
Once your lab returns, you’ll receive:
a concise insights document
recorded guidance explaining your results and key patterns
next-step recommendations based on your current phase and priorities

Who This Is For
This is for you if:
You're thinking about pregnancy and want a clearer picture of your health before conception.
You're overwhelmed by conflicting advice and want help knowing what matters most.
You want a more personalized approach than a standard prenatal.
You have fatigue, digestive issues, food sensitivities, or other concerns you'd like to explore before pregnancy.
You like testing and data but want help understanding what deserves attention first.
What This Is NOT
This is not for you if:
You're looking for fertility treatment or medical care.
You're looking for a guarantee or quick fix.
You only want general information and aren't interested in testing
You're looking for someone to replace your healthcare provider.
You're not interested in making changes based on what the testing shows.
Should both partners test?
Ideally, yes.
Both partners bring their own health history, stressors, nutrient demands, and environmental exposures into the conception journey. Testing both can provide a more complete picture and may help identify areas where additional support could be beneficial. This is particularly relevant to the quality and health of sperm.
We now know that genes can be “expressed” or not expressed depending on male health and how that transfers via conception.
For a long time, scientists believed that sperm only delivered raw DNA blueprints to an egg. However, recent breakthroughs prove that sperm also carries epigenetic instructions that directly shape how a baby’s genes are read and expressed.
Working on minerals and other foundations can impact epigenetics and what genes get turned back off.
That said, many women choose to start by testing themselves first, and that information alone can still be incredibly valuable as you prepare for conception.
You can always decide later whether testing your partner would be helpful or reach out to us to get our thoughts.
“When we're buried in the stress and symptoms, it's easy to overlook potential issues or overemphasize others. Because I have confidence in the action steps that we're taking, I find it much easier to prioritize those little steps each day. The labs themselves felt like answers.”

Possible next steps after Phase 1:
Optional Custom Mineral Blend Support
Mineral patterns may indicate that a personalized mineral blend could be supportive while trying to get your body balanced.
If appropriate, recommendations for this custom mineral support will be discussed after lab review.
Deeper Phase 2 Implementation
After reviewing your lab results, some women or even couples may choose to continue into a deeper implementation phase with structured support, education, and personalized sequencing guidance.
Others may simply use this phase for clarity and direction moving forward.
There is no pressure to continue.
Final Note

Confidence in their next steps
That’s the goal of this phase.
